Introduction

Welcome to SYBERA. In this video, you will learn everything about the configuration of Ethernet/IP devices with EIP Config on a PC basis.

Hardware & Setup

00:00:05

For the demonstration, you need a standard PC with an Ethernet connection. Additional controller hardware is not required.

00:00:15

Ensure that your PC has a valid IP address and that the network is correctly set up.

Scanner Configuration

Open EIP Config and select the parameter file. Alternatively, create a new file for the configuration.

00:00:35

Start the bus scan to detect all Ethernet/IP devices on the network.

00:00:45

Found devices are displayed in the configuration list. Assign station names and IP addresses for each device.

00:01:00

Add the required functional modules and configure the Connections for each endpoint.

Saving & Conclusion

00:01:30

Save the configuration list in a parameter file to reuse the settings.
